Where is the quarantine folder?
I selected the quarantine menu option which took me to the quarantine section in the application and did as I described above. Is this not the quarantine folder?
Hello David,
We are sorry for the delay in response and inconvenience caused.
May I know what is the error message that appears during the restore of the quarantined file?
I'm running a trial version of AVG and one of my .bat files has been quarantined. I've tried to restore the file but it's not AVG is not restoring it. I've seen examples where you can got to options>File vault to restore the file but I cannot see this option.
Can someone please advise how I can restore my file? I'm running win 7 professional a and AVG version 17.1.3006
Hello David,
We are sorry to know that. You can restore the file removed by AVG from quarantined folder only. Please restart and check if the file got restored back to your computer.
Thank you
Yes rebooted, tried the above steps and still no joy. The file is still showing in the quarantine folder and I can't seem to restore it. Wasted too much time trying to sort this out so I wrote it again and uninsulated AVG. Thank you.
My advice is find a better virus etc. program AVG doesent work very well I have had nothing but problems ant all total it has cost me over 200.00 dollars to date and I am still getting malware problems but for 200.00 dollars I ended up buying NANOHEAL A MALWARE REMOVAL TOOL BECAUSE THE avg VIRUS PROTECTION PROGRAM DOESENT WORK i HAVE ALSO NOTIFIED THEM SEVERAL TIMES ??? There's no error message.
iI select the checkbook next to the quarantined file and select the restore option using the button at the bottom on the forms and nothing happens. I've tried this in chrome and Firefox. I'm also not seeing as Javascript errors.
