Hi,

I downloaded AVG TuneUp a few days ago. It shows up in my subscriptions but with and 'Activate & Install' button. When I press this I get a message saying the app is installed but also a 'failed' message. When I try to run SetUp I get to a loop where it says 'ready to install' then when I click on install it says there is a conflict and it says I need to uninstall AVG PC Tune Up. However the 'Uninstall' button does not appear to work and I am then stuck in a loop. I have tried to uninstall PC Tune up via programs in my Control Panel - but again I get an error message when I try to do so 'Oxe001f9of'. Any ideas what is going wrong? I am now resorting to unsubscribing and re subscribing to see if that fixes the problem bu am concerned I will get stuck in the same loop.

Hi Dinesh,

Just tried the steps you suggested and… sadly I get to the same 'loop'. Cannot install due to a conflict wit AVG PC Tuneup which is still showing up in Programs. When I try to uninstall from there - same error message comes up '0xe001f90f'
After using AVG Clear I receiveda message to say uninstall had been successful - so not sure what's going on.

Share us the screenshot of the error message you are getting.
Make sure that you have uninstalled the AVG PC TuneUp using the Removed Tool from the below link :

Restart your PC and try installing the AVG TuneUp.

Hi,
I have been using AVG  tune up for the last 7 months.
As of today I cannot get the app to open either.
When I try to reinstall it, I too get the same message…"installation failed ".
I am in contact with AVG customer support but getting no joy from them.
AVG quite obviously have a technical issue with this.
I have advised them I am not the only person to be having problems with this AVG tune up.
