AVG installed without my permission, and now I can't uninstall it. I have tried using the different tools provided by your website, but it is simply not uninstalling. I used the uninstalling tools, it confirms that it has uninstalled, then when I restart the computer it's still there!
I can't even terminate the task on task manager. 
Can you guide me to a PERMANENT solution?

there is no message. I can see that it is still installed because it appears on the icons in my taskbar, next to the antivirus I did install and other running programmes. I cannot attach an image because when I press the picture icon to attach it it is blank.

Marga, we're referring to the screenshot of the message/window you receive showing that your AVG Antivirus is still installed on your computer (even after using uninstaller tool).

If you look at my answer above, you'll see that I'm asking what you need an screenshot of. That there is no message. I have uninstalled AVG several times. and when I restart there is no message, but I can see the icon that AVG is running on the notification tray. 
If you specify what you need a screenshot of, I will take it.
