Unable to Uninstall AVG Macbook

Ben,
We understand that you are unable to find the AVG application in Application folder. Please try removing the AVG traces manually from the below path

Run uninstallation from /Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/components/uninstall/com.avg.uninstall.app

Try to install AVG[http://avgread.me/1ggvK09] and check the installation status.

Uninstaller for avg missing
Tried reinstalling AVG but still unable to uninstall AVG

Followed this but no actual menu bar exists. Cannot open AVG.

Mac Details:
Osx 10.8.5
Macbook pro 7,1
Macbook pro 13 inch mid 2010

Currently I am unable to take a screenshot of the entire Macbook as it is not with me currently. I can go and get a screenshot but what do you want me to take a screenshot of exactly? There is a menu bar at the top with allowed me to select to update. I was also able to view the details of the Linkscanner Agent which is version 12.0 (1817). There is nothing to take a screenshot of because there is no application called avg or linkscanner in the applications folder and there is no uninstaller. Is there some removal tool?

Ben, To take a screenshot in MAC, please follow the below instructions : 1. To capture the entire screen, press Command-Shift-3. The screen shot will be automatically saved as a PNG file on your desktop with the filename starting with Picture followed by a number, example Picture 1, Picture 2, and so on. 
2. To copy the entire screen, press Command-Control-Shift-3. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program like PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, etc.
