Unable to uninstall AVG

Is there any other way to uninstall avg? I am unable to uninstall my AVG. I've tried to uninstall it with the remover tool several times with no success.  I believe that a few of AVGs files may have come corrupt , I can't delete any AVG files. When I attempt to delete any of them it says "access denied", or "An error occurred" despite me being admin on my computer. Some of my AVGs features are not working either. When I attempt to run a scan it takes days or just doesn't finish the scan. I also believe that some of AVGS not picking up threats either. I'm planning to uninstall and reinstall my avg. Please find a solution to my issue
