Hello George. I  request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218

Hi there,

I've been trying to update my AVD Internet Security 2015.  When I try to do it, It gets about 60% through the installation, then I get this error message:

Update has detected running installation.  Complete that installation before starting update.

I do not have any installation running that I am aware of.

Any suggestions?
