Hello. Today I’ve discovered that an unauthorised payment of £49.99 has been taken from my credit card by AVG.
I do not have a subscription with AVG. I’ve checked with my credit card provider and no previous debits have been made by AVG in the last few years. I’m completely lost as to why a random amount would suddenly be charged for a service that I have not asked for or authorised. This feels very much like theft. Please ensure £49.99 is credited back to my account with immediate effect. It feels like there is a scam here and I feel very upset by it.
