Josh, just try resetting your firefox browser.
Same problem here, no add-ons (nor extensions), delete the whole browser, resetted settings, it's driving me nuts

Please be informed that they are not virus but annoying search engines which get into the computer along with some other software or if we visit any untrustworthy websites accidentally. I would request you to uninstall unknown add ons and extensions from Firefox browser. Please right click on the desktop shortcut of Firefox, click on Properties, check the 'Target' field. It should be “C:\Program Files(x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe”. If you find any other text appended to this path, please remove it and save the changes.
I have a virus that occasionally redirects my firefox browser to different sites. the most common urls are http://pipeschannels.com/ and http://putrr18.com/
I have done all types of scans with AVG, windows defender and malware bytes using thorough settings but nothing comes up. I have checked my processes and installed programs but I don't see anything unknown. Has anyone heard of this and/or know how to fix it?
