Thanks Beth! It didn't totally fix it for me but things are looking much better now (I think I might have made it worse playing with the web fonts in chrome!). Thanks so much for your answer
Hi Rose,
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Could you please send me screenshot http://avgclick.me/createascreenshot of the internet browser with highlighted issue for closer analysis?
Thanks
Had same problem. Go into your computer's control panel and search for Performance Information and Tools.Click to open it and click on Adjust Visual effects.Click on "adjust for best performance" or for less drastric action select "let Windows choose what's best for my computer" Like you I found you cannot restore from the restore in PC TUNE UP. Which is not very nice really. At my age the changes P C TUNE UP made left me struggling to read the faint fonts. I really hope this helps.
I've been trying PC tuneup and I selected change to visualisation to improve performance. The difficulty in reading text in the browser (there might be a change in my OS but I can't notice it). I tried undoing the changes (restore) via PC tuneup which 'worked' but no change in the text. I've tried firefox vs chrome, same problem and I tried resorting chrome, no good and uninstalling PC tuneup. none of this has worked.
I'm bloody well annoyed now, AVG is causing me huge hassel as I study online and it's down right uncomfortable to read with this change to text.
Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated. (I'm seriously regretting trying this product out.)
