Unexpected significant increase on subscription

I write to show concern over the massive increase of the annual subscription you have taken from my bank account.

I was advised by email  that you were taking the annual fee earlier, but not how much.  £75.00 is a 250% increase on last year.  Before I investigate other providers, something I do not particularly wish to do as I have been a customer of AVG for many years,  please let me know your reasons for this increase.

In all of the time, at least 10 years, I have used AVG for Internet Security, the cost charged to me has never been anything like £75.00 per annum.

The reason I left my debit card details with you last year was that I expected £29.00 per annum to be the figure you were now charging as a recognition of my loyal custom.

 I was very disappointed to find the debit on my account, particularly as  AVG had not had the courtesy to advise me of the sum due to be taken.  Please confirm that the previous price will be applied for the next twelve months cover and credit my account with the difference. I trust that in future I will be advised well in advance of  any price changes.

I understand that I have 30 days from the 20th January to close my account for a full refund if I wish.
