Unexpected subscription renewal

On checking, you have been renewed for AVG Secure VPN (Multi-device) on Dec 19, 2019 for USD 79.99 charged from your PayPal account.

We have sent an email on the date of charge to your email address registered with AVG.

Let us know if you wish to have refund.

I recently received a charge in my PayPal account.  I did not receive any n\otification by email that my subscription for AVG internet security was going to be renewed. I did NOT receive prior notification and I did not give permission. I do not want subscriptions renewed in the future.  Please, let me know that confirm in writing by email that this has been done.  I canceled the charge made to my card.
Let me know if you confirm the refuse of the charge on my credit card and that it will not be automatically renewed in the future.
