Thank you for the clarification. I am now able to get into my email and surf the internet through AVG VPN. I turned on VPN network, then went thru the Google chrome Browser which is protected by AVG and after testing, everything worked fine. I recieved no spooling or error messages. Thanks for your help. I almost gave up!
1. Should I connect through "Unknown Network," or through my own router's SSID?
2. If through Unknown Network, should it be set to Public or Private?

I recently purchased the AVG VPN software and once it loaded to my system, I now noticed my Wifi shows that I am currently connect to: and Unidentified network (with a park bench Icon) Does anyone know what this is?

Yes, this Unidentified Network appeared after the AVG VPN installation. I tried to see what would happen if I turned off the AVG VPN Software and it is no longer there and I am able to email and use my internet. When I turned it back on, the Unidentified Network came back and kept trying to connecting and stopped my internet and email.

Does it appear all the time or just when you use the AVG Secure VPN?
