Hello Melanie. To uninstall Family Safety please follow the below mentioned instructions:
1. Download the Family Safety remover tool http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Bsecure_remover.exe.
2. Close all running applications. Your computer will be restarted during the next steps.
3. Run the tool, and then click Accept to confirm the license agreement.
4. Click Continue to uninstall Family Safety.

I purchased AVG Family Safety when it first was available. However, after a time it seemed AVG stopped supporting the product.
It is still installed and loads into my systray. I try to uninstall it, but unfortunately I do not remember the administrative password that it asks for to uninstall. I had hoped it was the same password I use for AVG, but that is not the case.
I found the old website at https://familysafety.avg.com/us-en/family-safety-not-activated but that site only redirects you to the AVG Pro site, no matter what you click on (the site that trys to get your to purchase PRO).
I need to get it uninstalled, because it is now conflicting with another internet filter I am attempting to use. How may I remove this old product? Any help very appreciated.
