Hello Jim,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I would request you to run our AVG remover tool once. Please follow the below mentioned instructions for that:

1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link:For 32-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2015_5501.exe
For 64-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

I tried to uninstall AVG free but it would not allow me. Avg uninstaller now tells me its been uninstalled but Norton tells me its still activated and the securitry portion of Norton will not activate
