I have now completed my question twice in the last few days on this link. On both occasions "loading" appeared on the screen and continued to do so for over 30 minutes before I gave up. Is there any other way I can get an answer to my issue please?

Still awaiting your reply.  As it is not possible to use your email or chat facility I detail my problem below.

Not finding any way of uninstalling AVD LinkScanner from my Mac I used the CleanMyMac unistaller. This seems to have deactivated it but it the programme still sits in System Preferences. I have downloaded AVG AntiVirus which apppears to be working ok but would still like to completely uninstall LinkScanner
