I would like to uninstall the AVG Linkscanner on my iMac but the instructions on AVG website do not work:

Instructions

To uninstall the AVG Cleaner from your computer:

  1. Open Launchpad.
  2. Locate AVG Cleaner and hold down its icon until all the icons begin to jiggle.
  3. Click the AVG Cleaner’s delete button (x) to uninstall the app.
I do not get a delete button to uninstall neither is there a uninstall option when i run the application. Dragging it to Trash does not delete it.

Please help!

I run OSX El Capitan version 10.11.6
