For some unknown reason, AVG Secure VPN stopped working after a scan by AVG PC Tuneup.
I tried to reinstall and came up against the "failure to install/couldn't find installation files" message. I then tried to uninstall the App via Settings (Windows 10) and it told me it could find the unins000.exe file.
I read elsewhere the files needed to be removed manually… so, I did that. When searching on File Explorer, there is no result for "AVG VPN". You would think that would be a good thing!
I restarted the PC and went back to settings… the App is still listed with 62.6 MB and I am at the same stage as previous - the uninstall function will not work.
What do I have to do to get the App deleted from the list in settings, in order that I can reinstall AVG Secure VPN? (I have a subscription for AVG Ultimate.)
