I keep getting offers to purchase AVG updater, but I don't want it. It's getting really irritating as it pops up every now and then. I need to know how to get rid the adware. :-(

I was confused. The last time we communicated.those were unticked and I got the updater notification. Anyway, I'll give it another try and let you know if I still experience the issue again.

You can disable pop up offers for other AVG products from AVG Internet Security settings. Click on Menu -> Settings -> General -> Privacy. Then uncheck "Show offers for our other products". Click OK to save the settings.
Chris, those two settings must not be ticked to not receive campaign pop ups. Please untick them and click OK to save the settings.
