Hello Steve,

Are you getting any threat notification from AVG regarding the Idle Buddy? Have you tried to scan your PC with AVG?

Please check if you have enabled this option "Scan for potentially unwanted applications (PUAs)"  in AVG ▸ Menu ▸ Settings ▸ General > Main settings .

Please share the screenshot [ http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of the Idle Buddy threat message/program to assist further.

Can't remove Idle Buddy!  never installed it

Steve, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
