Thanks for reply. This looks like a easy fix. Please give miss step by step instructions rather than a remote connection that I don't feel comfortable doing.
A lot of people having the same issue. I just need to know how would you remove left over files after uninstall that's causing this issue. Thanks
Please follow the below steps and check for the issue again.
1) Open Finder 2) In menu bar select GO > GO TO FOLDER 3) Type: /Library/Application Support/ 4) Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder manually (Restart your mac) and then reinstall should work
