Cannont see either the uploaded image, nor its comment.
It should say' the Terminal returns ==> "uninstall.app does not exist"…

This negates 'Uninstall AVG' using the (2nd) example given, for use when there is no icon in 'Applications' to open…

What is in this system? Something from opening the App after download it would seem!
#NotGood

Is this all there is?

Only took 1/2 an hour+ to get here!

Have attempted to install AVG scanner & 'continue' fails. The app claims there is already AVG in my Mac systems (3) & you must 'Uninstall' to install a new version of AVG.

There is no icon in the Applications folder, so your 'preferred method is out'!

You direct to the Utilities Folder's Terminal…
This is another fail with the msg ==> "unistall.app does not exist", so the question now becomes' what's this system been gifted with from AVG which is preventing its install?

Really too bad. Install was relatively smooth on my 1st Mac. Now, 3 units are returning the same msg, with any action on this end, ending in failure.

Have grown very tired of Avast & was looking forward to AVG's scanner, but with all that's transpired, it seems I will have to reset my devices to factory settings, a major pain, & unless something miraculous comes up soon, I certainly will not be spreading the good word on AVG systems…User-added imageted 'Uninstall'
