Hello Martin, I am Simon from the Dashlane Support team.

Hello Martin,

It isn't a virus issue, the popup appears because of UAC (User Access Control) enabled on your PC.
The UAC prompt that you receive should have the option to run or allow the operation that you are trying to process.

I am trying to uninstall Dashlane from my windows 10 PC, because it has started to generate annoying pop-ups. I have two user accounts with administrator privileges. I uninstalled Dashlane from my usual account successfully, but when I log in to my alternative account (name "Parent"), i still get Dashlane popping up, and it still appears in the list of software for this account.

If I try to uninstall this version of Dashlane too, I get a pop-up message from User Account control asking me if I wish to allow a program "Un_A.exe" (from an unknown publisher, on the hard drive of my computer) to make changes to my computer. I don't usually run exe files from unknown publishers. How can I tell if it safe to run this file to complete the uninstallation of dashlane from the "Parent" account? I have just run a full computer scan with AVG and no threats were found.  Thanks.
