Hi, woudl someone tell me how I get all trace of AVG off my laptop? I have tried both uninstall through Control Panel - told I don't have the authority, which is rubbish since account settings haven't changed since I installed it. Tried the removal tool, which successfully downloaded, but couldn't complete because it 'failed to find and internet connection' … durgh!

Pat, AVG AV this should work!.. Try removing AVG by downloading & using the 32 or 64bit 2015 Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down], whichever suits your system. If you're not sure about 32 or 64 bit on your system have a look @ this link (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=140471#post_140471).
