Please follow the below steps to remove any/all traces of AVG from your Mac:

  • Open Finder
  • In menu bar select GO > GO TO FOLDER
  • Type: /Library/Application Support/
  • Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder manually (Restart your mac)
After following the above steps, if you're still unable to uninstall AVG from your Mac, please let us know. We'll check & assist you further.

Hi, 
I would like to uninstall AVG Antivirus on my Mac but I can't find it in the Application directory or somewhere else on my Mac so I can't use the suggested procedure to do it. I tried to remove every tracks of the antivirus with a cleaning software but it doesn't work either. Currently I can't use AVG on my Mac so I'm not even protected. Can somebody help me please?
