Hello, I would like to inquire about an unknown payment charge to my credit card. When I first used this VPN, I used a free trial (trial) plan and connected it to my credit card, but after using it for a day, I canceled the free trial plan. I created an AVG account and linked it for payment just in case, and then canceled the free trial and deleted AVG VPN from my computer (currently at this time/2024-03-24).
However, 6 days ago, while I was sleeping, an attempt was made to pay KRW 82,800 under the name “(IE)DRI*AVG Technologies“. A total of 3 payment attempts have been made so far over 2 days (no approval), website or notice. They said they would send me an email notification before payment was made for the free trial, but that didn't happen at all, and even if I made a mistake and failed to cancel the plan, I think there was a billing error or mistake that attempted to pay after 3 months.
I went into my avg account and checked, but it says that there are no currently active plans. I go back to the computer and look at it again, but there is no avgvpn payment log.
Why do I keep getting requests to charge my credit card? help me… pls
