Recently upgraded from AVG Free to AVG Protection and AVG Performance. Now I have a problem. The whole computer scan took 38 minutes two days ago. The whole computer scan started yesterday took 24 hours. Both scans requested I download PC Tune-up, but indicated no virus. Both attempts to download PC Tune-up failed. Meanwhile the computer becomes less and less effective, with in-computer functions slowing to a stop, and all websites "Not Responding". Now AVG tells me the firewall is down, as well. No automatic procedures for "fix" or "heal" are at all effective. When I saved the AVGInstallLog to my desktop, the AVG Protection icon disappeared.
Any suggestions before I take this (vulgar expletive) to the shooting range ?
