I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a clean installation. But if you mean on a machine with a fresh OS then no I havn't and really would prefer not to!
If you mean a clean installation of AVP software then yes I have completely uninstalled all AVP software on both systems, reinstalled them and they worked fine initially, then again after a number of days were unresponsive. I have no reason to doubt that if I reinstalled them again, the same thing would happen.
I do believe there was anther anti virus software on both laptops, I believe they were Avast, but I uninstalled them and I can't see any remenents of them in my programs and features or any services by them in my task manager, it seems to me that AVP is now the only security/optimization type software on either laptop.

Sometimes, this might happen if few services are unable to initiate due to the presence of conflicting protection program or optimization tool.
Please let us know if you've tried performing a clean installation & whether there are any other antivirus installed on your computer.
Hi, I subscribed to the free 2 month trial for multiple devices for both the Tune-Up and Internet Security Apps on two laptops and everything worked fine. However after a few days I tried to open both apps on both laptops and absolutely nothing happened. I looked at my task manager and there were processes running, but I just couldn't access the applications. I then reinstalled both applications on one machine and everything worked fine again but the same thing happened after a few days…what's wrong?

Clean installation of AVG software requires AVG remover tools and the complete removal of AVG files in the computer.
