Rena,
I regret to hear that the issue persist. It seems the traces from your previous installation is causing the issue. Click on this link for steps to download and run AVG Remover and Clear tools to remove AVG traces completely.
NOTE: Please run AVG Clear tool first and click on "Run anyway" if AVG Remover does not detect any AVG app.
Then refer to steps provided in this link on how to download and install AVG Internet Security. If the setup did not ask you to enter the license number while installing, follow the steps below to activate after the installation is completed.
1. Open AVG Internet Security.
2. Click on My AVG -> My Subscription.
3. Click on 'Enter new license'. (If you do not see this option, click 'Logout' to see it).
4. Type in the new license, follow the on screen instructions to complete the activation.
I previously posted a comment that I had renewed my yearly subscription for Internet Security Premium and paid and received my license number. However, I continue to get error messages that my subscription has expired and I need to renew. I followed your instructions to uninstall AVG on my PC and then reinstall using the link you emailed me. I've done this 3 times (uninstall, then reboot, then reinstall… 3 times) and still continue to get the message that my subscription has expired and I need to pay to renew. I'm never given the option to enter my license number as shown in the steps during install. Once the gauge says 100% installed, the red error box appears and states that I need to renew my expired subscription.
