I am sorry to hear that you keep receiving AVG pop-ups. Please follow the below steps to change the range of pop-up and check if that fix the issue.
Open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->General->Pop-up->Info Pop-up
Change the value to Zero and click on OK.

I have AVG protection. That is the only product I want but I am continually bombarded by unwanted nags to buy VPN, maintenance etc.
I NEVER will buy these products.
