Unwanted automatic renewal

Today I was billed  by Digital rivers via PayPal for AVG which I do not require or want  or indeed have received ! Plus the "purchase" doesn't show up under subscriptions !  
The awful way to try and get to contact you is shocking for a so called IT company . Obviously making it as difficult as possible  so customers give up.
I will send details of the charge and associated numbers and do want to get a refund
