Hi @Graham_Sturgess , repetitive URL detections are often caused by “browser hijackers”. The problematic URL can be accessed in the background - by an extension or via push notifications enabled from a website.
First, I’d recommend that you ensure that this website is not opened in the background in one of the old tabs you might have opened in the past.
If not, I recommend that you reset your browser to its default settings. The process is described here: Resetting your internet browser to default settings | AVG (please note that you might need to restart your browser after resetting its settings).

Many thanks. It is a very frustrating feature. Perhaps future upgrades can flag a “take me to” the tab. I shall search for the tab that had the blocked site.
Agreed, the solution should be easier to figure out. Can you confirm that you did, in fact, find the problematic tab and simply closed it to fix the problem? Or did it stop on its own?
