I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please try to update your AVG Internet Security program once and check the issue with Internet Explorer. I would also request you to disable AVG Internet Security as per the steps mentioned here and check if ZoomText 10 works fine in your PC.
Running Windows 7, AVG Ultimate. The latest AVG update caused Internet Explorer to stop working, IE error message "program has encountered an error…" when attempting to open. Also running ZoomText 10, a screen reader/magnifier for visually impaired users. Any clues what to try?
