Please help! Hi, I have lost a lot of urgent files. I was playing a game called CS:GO and after 10 min AVG told me that there was an update and I accepted and my pc restarted and then the following happened. ALL MY VIDEO EDDING THUMBNAILS and other important stuff got deleted. I have a lot of faith in AVG as a whole and hope I can count on you guys to help me out

An update of AVG program won't delete any files.
Only if it says a threat is detected on a particular and if you click on Protect then it will remove the particular threat to virus vault.
Did you get any threat detected popup from AVG?

Also mention the name of AVG program you have installed and it is free, trial or paid version?
