Update failed : cannot connect to server

Hello Edward. Glad to hear that you are able to complete the update offline. It is not required to provide your license number to download the update files and the last 4 characters of your license is truncated in AVG program due to security reasons and it is usual. Thank you.

Having had this problem a few days ago I managed to cure it myself by  downloading files to my PC

It is now 13:00 on Sat 27th and guess what ? I've got the problem again.
I tried updating from directory using files I 'fetched' and which solved the problem earlier .

I have web and email protected but computor update required.
Since I cant remember exactly what files I fetched last time I may require either to fetch the same fiels again or at least one other file.
Gawd knows I dont.

OK Edward, No probs… Pleased to see that you appear to be now sorted. Thanks for returning to the Community & posting. License number wouldn't be involved with updating virus definitions. The full license number doesn't appear on your AVG UI for security reasons.
