Update failed. Can't reach site

I have a number of outdated drivers and have recently upgraded to a paid AVG subscription. When I click on update drivers I receive a prompt (accompanied by a bell sound) message advised that the download has failed and that website can't be reached.

PS: I have a multi device subscription. 

Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so how did you resolve it?
