Hi Danny,

You can completely uninstall AVG by running AVG Remover (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover_en.exe) to see if it is caused by AVG.

Thanks

My AVG was updating today (May 15, 2014) but the update failed, as I clicked the "update now" to see if maybe i could get it to work, a small window popped up and then instantly my PC rebooted itself.  It was to fast for me to even see what the small window said.  But since then I have only been able to use Windows through safe mode/Safe mode (networking) but the second I try to use windows in normal mode it goes as far as the little Microsoft load bar, and then the screen turns black and my pc reboots itself again.   I wasn't running any other programs, i was just wanted to check my email at the time, so that's what leads me to believe that  AVG is the problem, please help!

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit)
