Update failed - license error

as already stated in my firstp ost did we try all the steps you described. 
There is  no other anti virussoftware installed
we removed the 'old'  avg installation using the avg removal tool
we installed the last version (even the full download)
But the problem still persists

we are experiencing issues with the AVG free installation. Each time we try to update the virus definitions we receive a message saying 'update failed, invalid license'. I tried all steps described in the topic (delete AVG.SNU, reinstall, remove all avg software with the avg remover, reinstall,…). But nothing helps. Is there anyone who konows what to do ?

We regret the inconvenience caused. We would like to remove AVG Program from your system using AVG Remover tool and then try to reinstall AVG Protection.
Note: If you have installed any other conflicting programs like AVAST,NORTON or KASPERSKY means please try to uninstall it.
Once you have uninstalled from your system,try to follow the simple steps which mentioned below.
We request you to try AVG remover tool again to remove the AVG traces completely from your system.
Remover and Download:
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link:  http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
