Hello Jon,
Let's have a look into this together.
May I ask you the version of AVG AntiVirus/AVG Internet Security installed on your PC?

My Anti Virus (paid version) has UPDATE REQUIRED on the comouyter icon and Fix Now highlighted. BUT, if i click 'Update now' or Fix Now its flashes up  'Update completed successfully but the icon still says 'Update required'. Tried switching off and on - doesnt make any difference. Any suggestions?
