I had tried to run a scan and had to run an update on the virus definitions.
Each time i tried it failed at step 1 and showed an unknown error!
Any help would be great
Thanks Brian

I have had this problem and changing to Google's DNS worked. However, I do NOT want to use Google's DNS and wish to revert to BTs that I have for a decade with AVG for ten years. Is this s a permanent or temporay issue ?
Chris
This should be a temporary issue and will get resolved.
You can continue to use the Google DNS and it should not conflict with your Internet speed or performance.
