Please check if you've a desktop icon for AVG Internet Security. If so, double click on it & the homepage will let you know the protection status.
If the icon isn't found, check if AVG Internet Security is listed in the programs list. To check : Go to control panel - Programs & Features - Programs - Check if AVG Internet Security is listed.

I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 and am not sure is AVG is active.
How do I find out?
