Updates not changing screen data

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

I appreciate all your efforts in trying to fix the issue. I would like to inform you that it is a known issue and will be fixed in the next update.

I entered AVG yesterday and in red was a message" virus definitions out of date" also that my last computer scan was one month ago , so, I did an update on the scan and at the end it said all is fine but the screen still showed not scanned for 1 month, i then went to the virus page and it told me to update I tried this and it came up as "up to date", On advice i went into control panel  chose avg-delete/change  and said repair,  I went thro the sequence including restarting the computer and it has made no changes whatsoever.
