I was told it can take 6 mouths for them to give you updates on the definition I do not know any program's free or not free that dose not give you updates yes it will only give a update for the program it self I was told even if you pay for a ascription it will take 6 mouths to give you a update on the definition  I will look for some thing else to use why use Some thing that dose not give you updates on

Whenever new viruses or threats found, it will be updated to AVG virus definitions database.
Usually the updates are released on daily basis.
May I know what is the exact issue that you are experiencing in updating AVG virus definitions?
