Can't update Antivirus definitions. This message is being displayed while updating Antivirus on my google pixel . Please help.

I am sorry to know that Virus database update has failed. The issue could be temporary server glitch. We can resolve this by resetting the app. Please follow the steps below to reset the app : Device Menu -> Settings -> Apps/Application Management -> AVG Anti Virus -> Tap on clear cache & Clear data -> Force stop the app once.
Now restart your device once and check if the Virus database is getting updated without any error.
