I have the auto update turned on, but it tells me that cannot connect to the Internet.  The warning suggests that it may be the Firewall but I tested that, and that was not the case.   The work around is to uninstall and re-install.  Which is not efficient  I have the log file AVG_SysInfo.7z that I can send you.
