Hello Veronica,
If I were you I would feel the same. Let me explain this clearly. Many of our users find these offers useful. We handpick them from our own products or those of partners we feel can add to your security or digital experience. Also the frequency of pop ups can be controlled directly from the app or can be even turned off.
Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> General -> Privacy -> Uncheck "Show offers for other AVG products and third party products".
Could you share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of scan results where you received that prompt to buy more?
i bought ur service online. i thought i was getting security protection. then i was asked to buy additional security with the security i already bought. then after scans i am being asked to buy even more security to remove 2 spy cookies u consider a threat. this is outragouse and i wonder what security u r actually providing. i will never buy more or ur services ever again and will be spreading this bullshit of urs widely telling all i can about ur lack of service and my frustration of being asked to buy more protection when basic protection should deal with spy cookies and more.
