URL:Mal From Chrome?

Hello S W,

Please provide us with the screenshot of the threat detected AVG Antivirus which will help us to assist further.
To take a screenshot please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1aZxsAV and attach the image to this post.

I have the email now and I was told that I would have to let AVG do remote assistance. I am currently at this time unable to do that. Is there anything else that can be done?

I followed the instructions and the reply back I got was "We have successfully received the log files and have escalated the case to the senior team. They will analyse the logs and contact you via email with a solution. Your patience is much appreciated." This was several days ago and I haven't gotten a reply since, but I have since then got another warning since then. Should I just uninstall and re-install Chrome? Last time I did that it still happened, though.

Every now and then my AVG anti-virus detects and secures a "URL:Mal" through seemingly random connections. Sometimes it is detected when I am browsing sites I normally visit, or the Google Chrome support forums most commonly, and it has even popped up twice - one after another - when I was playing a Steam game and tried to pull up the built-in overlay. Several of the processes have all been from Google Chrome itself.

Can someone please help to tell me what this is? I did a system restore and wiped my entire computer clean about a month ago, and after reinstalling Chrome first this started popping up. It was the first thing I installed from scratch before anything else, then I installed AVG and it started happening.

Thank you for the information.
May I know when you will be able to get connected with them?
