Nick,
We regret for the inconvenience caused to you. If AVG need to save the configuration, it will prompt you with that popup. We need to select "Yes" to save them. We realize that you have chosen "No" and we are sure that the configuration may failed to save.

Please restart your device and check for the issue. You can also disable your AVG temporarily http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG, check if you are able to access your Internet. If these instructions didn't resolve the issue, we suggest you to reboot your device in safe mode http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode and check if the issue persists. Awaiting your reply, thank you!

Hi All,

Not sure whether I have selected the correct category here.

This morning when I turned my laptop on I was prompted with a window displaying the below message:

"Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"

AVG Configuration management application
Verified Publisher: AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o.
File origin: Hard drive on this computer

I clicked on 'No' as I was unsure about this message.

However, I cannot access anything, not the Control Panel nor the internet (I am having to use my work laptop to write this).

Can someone please offer any help/advice.

Thanks in advance

Nick
