Matthew, we sorry to hear that issue your persist.
Can you share us the screenshot of the warning message you receive, to investigate further.
Hi,
In recent times I have been having trouble with AVG Internet Security and the free anti-virus. I use screen-reading software, specifically JAWS, currently Version 2018 on Windows 7. I have recently had trouble reading the windows properly using JAWS and this means I have difficulties establishing what actions the program wants me to take. I initially had this problem with AVG Internet Security, and now with the free anti-virus, but not with AVG PC Tune-up.
Can you advise me on how I can use AVG with a screen-reader?
Thanks.
Hello Matthew.
We're here to help. Please note that 2019 version is the latest for AVG Internet Security. We'd request to uninstall 2018 version and install the newer version to verify the issue.
Click this link for steps to uninstall AVG. Then refer to steps in this link to install latest version. You can use the same license number to activate newer version of AVG.
The message seems to have disappeared again just at the minute; the tray icon has now gone back to saying that my system is secured. The point is not so much those messages; it's being able to access the window. I know there is at least 1 other thread on this, and I apologise for the duplication, but has anything further happened since those thread(s)?
