I can relate how frustrating this could be.
I have checked the case and see that this activation issue was fixed in our backend.
As you are still unable to activate, I have sent an email to get connected with our remote support. Please follow the steps from the email and the concerned team will activate AVG Internet Security for you.
Such a frustrating experience, after talking to two individuals at AVG over a week back and wasting at least 2 hours on the phone nothing has been resolved.
To summarise what happened - unexpectedly my paid and working full AVG Internet Security subscription reverted to the free version (for no apparent reason), the first female technician at AVG had me delete and re-install - it did not work. The only thing that happened is I got another 30 day trail. So she passed me on to Gnanesh as it was deemed a Key issue.
He also tried more or less the same thing.However, my valid key keeps giving the error that 'it has expired' when its definitely active until Sept 2019. Hence I'm still stuck on the trial with 23 days left.
They (AVG) were supposed to escalate my case to a specialist team, that never happened. When I followed up just the other day, the same individual Gnanesh Vadivel replied with instructions on how to activate my subscription, the exact same advice that DIDN'T WORK the first two times. Seriously, what is going on here?
Can I get someone to sort this our or simply refund me all my subscriptions to date.
