So this morning, AVG tells me "LICENSE EXPIRED, PLEASE RENEW". What? It expires April 2016! I tried entering current license and says invalid! Bad enough I (and multi AVG users) are having antivirus update problems for a month now, but now license problems? I have AVG Internet Security Paid version through April 2016…
I simply cannot keep fixing/uninstalling/reinstalling/manually updated to keep AVG functional, and now must fiddle around trying to get my license validated? An AVG tech couple weeks ago offered me a free tech-support chat to fix the prob. with updating; I replied that since I'm on dial-up (yes I know it's a relic but what I have and must be content with), any fixes would take much too long — like couple hours, and I'm sure a tech is not agreeable to being tied up for 2 to 3 hours. His reply was "contact your Internet Service Provider about problems with your internet connection". What?? It's not a problem, just dialup and slow!!!
Please, AVG… do something for us about these constant, drawn out problems with License numbers and update fail messes!! I'm about two inches away from finding another internet security program company!!
